SOCIAL WORK AND CIVIL RIGHTS

Program Cost: Approximately $1,650

Students will be escorted to various historical sites in Birmingham, Selma, and Montgomery that are part of the U S Civil Rights Trail such as the Freedom Riders National Monument, the Civil Rights memorial Center, and 1977 Books an abolitionist bookstore and library. These sites will allow students to witness the very historical points where equality and freedom were fought for and discussed in social work classes.

Some meals and excursions

Passport, visa, or airport entrance or exit fees (if applicable)
Vaccinations
Remaining meals
